Another smart, useful missive, Tim. I would urge station leaders to go beyond the pro-democracy work as you've suggested, to provide users connections for action, i.e. "news you can use". There is frustration building as people understand the problem, but don't know how to connect to it at the very local level. That's the important work that local organizations can bring.
